On Thursday, July 20, starting at 11:00 AM, in the RONDA hall of Grand Hotel Bucharest, the National Council of SMEs in Romania (CNIPMMR) is organizing the first of three promotional conferences within the "Energy-efficient SMEs" project.
The promotional conference will have the following objectives:
1. General presentation of the project, its activities, and the program scope to increase awareness of the project/program
2. Promotion of energy security, energy efficiency, and the advantages of transitioning to renewable energy for SMEs
Relevant stakeholders from the field of energy efficiency, SMEs, and representatives of central public authorities with competencies in this area will participate in the conference.
The "Energy-efficient SMEs" project is implemented by CNIPMMR in partnership with SME Norway, a corresponding structure of CNIPMMR that aims to support and develop SMEs in Norway. The main objectives of the project are to increase awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and renewable energy by informing a considerable number of individuals and SME representatives, to increase knowledge about legislation and programs for SMEs in the energy sector, and to identify tools for calculating energy consumption and ways to minimize it within an SME.
Participation in the conference is free. For confirmation, please send an email to iulia.hainarosie@cnipmmr.ro.
"Energy-efficient SMEs" benefits from a grant of 190,508 euros from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants. It is funded with the support of grants provided through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, within the "Energy Program in Romania".
