The Ministry of Energy launches Electric Up 2: support for SMEs and the HORECA sector for installing photovoltaic panels and charging stations for electric vehicles
In preparation for a new funding cycle of the "ELECTRIC UP" Program, the Ministry of Energy has developed and put up for public consultation a draft normative act to amend Emergency Ordinance no. 159/2020 regarding the financing of small and medium enterprises and the HORECA sector for the installation of photovoltaic panel systems for electricity production with an installed power between 27 kWp and 100 kWp necessary for self-consumption and delivery of surplus to the National Energy System, as well as charging stations of minimum 22kW for electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, approved with modifications and completions by Law no. 12/2022.
Through the "ELECTRIC UP 2" Program, a de minimis aid is granted to beneficiaries in a maximum amount of 150,000 euros per beneficiary, representing a maximum of 75% of the value of eligible expenses, the remaining 25% representing co-financing from the beneficiary's own sources.
